"Low Level Radiation Health Effects: Data and Programs"

This session "continues" the two sessions conducted in Nov 94: AM on "Data", and PM on "Programs."  It presents scientific data on actual health effects data, and research programs investigating that data, at low doses/dose rates.

This session addresses the policy significance of the data to setting standards, and the relationship of those standards to public costs and benefits.

 

Note also: Nobel laureate Dr. Rosalyn Yalow also made a major presentation at the President's Special Session, following these sessions, at 4:00pm.
