RSH letter to the DOE Inspector General on the fact that David Michaels' response to the Feb. 1, 2000 letter to Sec. Richardson had failed to respond to the original letter and questions.

April 8, 2000

Follow-up communications assured that either the Program Office would be required to follow-up, or an "investigator" from the IG's Office would be assigned, and would contact us for additional information.

Neither action has ever occurred -

Subject: Adverse Effects of Radiation on Workers

Dear Mr. Secretary:

Our letter to Secretary Richardson of February 1, 2000, of which you received a copy, raised serious questions and allegations, and suggested actions to investigate and resolve them. David Michaels’ response (enclosed), as you can see, is completely unresponsive to the questions.

We intend to pursue this matter by one means or another until it is brought to closure. We will be glad to work with you to clarify and document the allegations and to resolve them. We would appreciate hearing from you.

Sincerely,

James Muckerheide, President                                  Theodore Rockwell, Vice-President
